Exciting news about a recent cloud phone missed call update!
Cloud phone systems have recently received a new, long-awaited update. Recently, the software of our Cloud Phone platform has been updated as per recommendations from our networking teams, considering recommendations and suggestions of improvement from our customers, resulting in the cloud phone missed call update.
As a part of this upgrade, there has been improvement to a long-standing known behavior in how calls were delivered into call groups or where they could be answered elsewhere.
Previously, a missed call notification would be displayed on other users’ devices, even if the call had previously been answered by another Cloud Phone elsewhere in the group. This could be seen as confusing as it would make users unsure as to if they had missed a call, or if the incoming call had been answered by another employee in the group.
As a part of the update, the Cloud Phone software is now aware when a call has been answered by another user. Instead, calls now answered by another member in the group will not display as a missed call on the user’s device. This setting is something that cannot now be changed and is how the Cloud platform now manages missed and group calls. This new update has been available to users since December 1st, 2021, but many people are still unaware of this new feature.
Please note you do not have to do anything for this feature update to be applied to your Cloud phone system with Tech IP. The platform has already updated automatically for you. We hope you enjoy this new feature update as much as we do, and that the new feature improves your office communication also.
