Profile
Bryans Salads Ltd are a third-generation family business based in the rural moss lands of Tarleton, Lancashire. They specialise in washed, ready-to-eat, sliced lettuce and salad leaf, high quality ready-to-cook vegetable packs and salad bowls. They have a very impressive customer base including some of the UK’s largest supermarket retailers and fast-food restaurants.
The Project
Bryans Salads were operating with a Samsung legacy phone system with ISDN2 lines, which were proving to be problematic. With intermittent issues and problems with their call quality, this led the business to look for an upgrade.
The objectives were simply to improve system reliability, to have a system that could be more easily tailored to the needs of the business moving forward and to improve the way in which incoming calls were greeted and handled. In addition, the business wanted to also add the facility to record telephone calls for quality and training purposes.
The Solution
After considering the best solutions available to Bryans Salads, Tech IP proposed a new VoIP broadband Internet connection and VoIP cloud phone system. This would replace the legacy ISDN network and onsite telephone system.
Benefits delivered include:
- A reliable high-quality cloud-based system with the latest functionality included.
- New professionally recorded incoming caller greetings with redesigned automated attendant.
- Lower running costs along with minimal upfront costs to upgrade.
- A new telephone call recording system with recordings hosted in the cloud.
- A smooth transition from “old to new” with no downtime at all.
Joe Bryan (Company Director) commented “We needed to upgrade our phone system as it wasn’t supporting the business fully anymore, and having searched for a new supplier, we were pleased to find a company so close to us who were able to assist. We have been using the system now for many months and have found it to work exactly as we had hoped. Tech IP were able to handle the upgrade process from our previous system very smoothly and I would gladly recommend Tech IP to anyone else looking to upgrade to a cloud phone system”.
