Galaxy Print is a printing and design company located in Croston, Leyland that offers a wide range of services from logo design to t-shirt printing. Their highly skilled designers use the latest software to produce high-quality designs.
Project
We had previously worked with Galaxy Print back in 2019, making some changes to their old Panasonic phone system, following a referral from an existing customer. Additionally, we have also purchased branded company clothing from them for Tech IP.
Their phone system was old and needed updating and they were also looking for a new provider, as their previous provider, unfortunately, couldn’t meet the business needs. Moving forward to 2021, they got back in touch with us regarding upgrading their business phone and internet services after finding us helpful in the past.
After initial discussions, it was clear what they wanted to achieve with the upgrade. They were looking for a newer system with more up-to-date features, better quality Wi-Fi, a trustworthy and reliable supplier, more flexibility to work remotely and to futureproof their systems leading up to 2025.

Some of the challenges we faced included:
• It would be difficult to make changes and keep the old phone system, to do this, we would need a costly, highly-trained Panasonic phone system engineer to complete the installation.
• Galaxy Print was also still waiting for their previous contract to expire
• The old telephone cabling was extremely complicated and in desperate need of repair
• Their broadband would also need to be upgraded to carry the phones, and data and to continue supporting their CCTV, meetings, and calls.
Solution
During initial discussions, Galaxy Print was considering upgrading to a new phone system and broadband internet connection. The recommendations we gave them were to purchase a new cloud VoIP phone system with our mobile app and extended Wi-Fi access points for the ground floor.
They also wanted to effectively manage their ongoing costs, so to support this, we included in their package, free calls and improved features with a lower cost of ownership. Changes on their new system could be made remotely and free of charge, unlike their old Panasonic system, where they would need to call out engineers to site which was costly.
Galaxy Print decided to go for fixed desk phones. . Galaxy Print also purchased new Wi-Fi for the ground floor. Additional bonuses were our mobile app and desktop software, which will integrate with and control their phones.
The installation took place in August 2021, and it brought the business some great benefits. They had reduced the cost of ownership, significantly improved internet access, and had the ability to make changes to their new phone system quickly and easily.
